CGW Travel Explores Vietnam Tourism

(Ignatius Ferry/cgwtravel.com)

Last November, HieutourVN invited dozens of tourism professionals from ASEAN countries, including Cahaya Global Wisata Travel, on a famtrip to explore Vietnam’s top tourist destinations. Held from November 19-26, 2025, the event encouraged participants to experience Vietnam’s natural and cultural heritage, particularly the Mekong Delta, a watershed rich in culinary diversity and unique culture, as well as a long history.

On the first day, all participants gathered in Ho Chi Minh City, one of Vietnam’s largest cities. On the second day, participants visited Binh My by speedboat for 50 minutes. Binh My Tourism offers a variety of tourist attractions, including historical relics, plantations, ceramic crafts, canoeing on the lake, and enjoying a variety of agricultural products, including sweet fruits.

After the visit and lunch, participants returned to Can Tho City and spent the night there.

On the third day, the Famtrip participants visited the Can Tho Floating Market and Tra Su Jacuput Forest. Starting at 5 a.m., participants were invited to witness the unique atmosphere of the floating market, where vendors sold various vegetables and fruits such as durian, mango, rambutan, and others directly from boats. Furthermore, boats selling a variety of breakfast dishes also appeared, making this floating market a very interesting tourist attraction. Then, in the afternoon, they continued to the forest tourism area, visiting the Goddess of Mother Temple, before returning to spend the night in Can Tho City.

The afternoon continued with an equally exciting forest tourism activity. Participants took a 20-minute boat ride through the beautiful swamp forest, where water hyacinths and lotus flowers filled the swamp. This area was filled with numerous photo spots, and was also adorned with flying pigeons. The trip then continued with a visit to the Goddess of Mother Temple, and returned to spend the night in Can Tho City.

On November 22, participants visited the Con Dao Islands, famous for their beautiful beaches. After crossing by speedboat, participants visited the Hang Duong Cemetery. In the afternoon, the group continued their journey to Con Dao Palace, the former residence of the local ruler, and Con Dao Prison, a historic prison dating back to the French colonial era. Con Dao itself is known for its cleanliness, as officers are regularly present every night to maintain its cleanliness. Furthermore, Con Dao is steeped in history and holds profound significance for the Vietnamese people. Interestingly, every purchase of a museum entrance ticket in Con Dao includes a free ticket to the historic prison museum. Participants spent the night at the Con Dao Resort.

On the fifth day, participants continued exploring the Con Dao Islands, then returned to Ho Chi Minh City that evening. On the sixth day, all participants attended a tourism seminar and enjoyed a romantic gala dinner that evening.

On the sixth day, participants were free to explore Saigon until the tour concluded the following day and the participants returned to their home countries.
