Singapore’s diplomatic capabilities and capabilities have earned global recognition. This small neighboring country, Indonesia, enjoys high levels of trust in its politics, economy, and human resources, allowing its citizens to travel freely around the world without constraints. This is evident in Singapore’s position as the country with the world’s strongest passport in 2025, according to the Henley Passport Index.
The Singapore passport offers visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 193 countries worldwide. This figure is impressive, considering that the Indonesian passport only offers visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 76 countries.
The Henley Passport Index also ranks Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden among the passports with the highest levels of travel freedom globally. These four Nordic countries remain at the top of the rankings, with access to over 185 destinations for short-term travel, business visits, and tourism.
Based on data from the International Air Transport Association, Singapore continues to lead the world in mobility, reflecting its extensive visa-waiver agreements and strong position in the international travel network. The Nordic countries trail Singapore only slightly, and it continues to rank among the most trusted passports for global travel.
